Three Takeaways from this episode!

1) Assign purpose to your pain. Everything doesn’t necessarily happen for a reason, but you can take the pain and trauma you went through, and assign purpose to it.

2) Parent yourself. Sarah says to care for yourself as if you were a parent to yourself. For example, go to sleep on time, take care of your body, and your health. Imagine you were a parent. What would you tell your child to do? Do that for yourself.

3) If you have a friend that is depressed, it’s essential to listen and be a good friend. You don’t have to have all of the answers!
