April is a psychotherapist focused on creative, body-centered therapy. She co-founded the Grand Rapids Center for Mindfulness. April teaches and practices from a place of authenticity. She believes in field-testing each practice she offers because it is important that each practice be able to meet you in the struggles and joys of everyday life. April has been teaching and practicing mindfulness and self-compassion for over 10 years. April enjoys supporting non-profit organizations around the country by sharing her art and favorite books through her new projects: Art-by-Donation and Books-by-Donation.
